I drove home without gloves on yesterday and felt exposed. That was crazy.

I kept waiting for him to flip over the bars and plant his face in the pavement or scrape his kneecaps off or something! It's good to know that not every motorcycle video you see on the internet involves injury.

Looks like it a Brit squid learning to stoppie/wheelie on a Derbi DRD 50cc SM. It's gonna hurt when he falls, but he'll survive.

Well, c'mon now, how do ya think we all learned about wearing proper gear anyway...remember? "cause your dad told ya, or because some roadway somewhere in hometown USA has has most of your elbow attached to it?

Hmm, my first thought was "is that his age or his IQ printed on his t-shirt?"

Ohhh, you guys are harsh. I probably should make sure you don't see me put the DRZ in the garage. I usually do it by going to the stop sign at the end of the street with a little stoppie action.

But not barefoot anymore...the little claws on the footpegs hurt!

P.S. And don't anyone tell me you've never left the driveway without gear. See, there's two kinds of motorcyclists, those that do it, and those that won't admit it!

I'm just glad he does not live on my block. I'd have to kill him for all that racket.

He ain't doin' bicycle speeds. I had plenty of bicycle boo boos when I was a kid.

I, too, believe it's a Derbi motard. There's a couple running CMRA mini endurance, neat lookin' little bikes, slower'n Christmas. Yes, it's a two stroke. See the expansion chamber (the pipe)? Only two strokes have 'em. Two strokes can be tuned to be very torquey. It's all in the pipe and port tuning. Ride a Gas Gas trials bike sometime and tell me it's "peaky". The little Derbis ain't highly tuned.

I think the bike is geared to low.

+1. I was doing the same thing, similarly attired just last week on the little XR. There's a difference between playing around on the street for a couple minutes and stand up wheelies in traffic on the freeway.

Hopefully, I'll be doing brakies on my XR100 if I ever get that EX250 front end installed on it.

Heck, I run up and down the sidewalk wheelieing my KX or my XR all the time, not even a helmet! I guess I'd be lambasted by the safety nazis here. Actually, when I was up a Colin Edwards' place play riding last year, Colin was doin' the same thing, even sliding it around his TT track on his TTR. I have a shot of him backin' it in, no helmet, no gear. So, is Colin a "squid"?:lol2:
