I have a Shoe X-11 Rainey and the clear shield is driving me nuts in the sun. It is almost like looking in a mirror from the inside. Was thinking about a CX-1V smoke or chrome shield, both have 100% UV filtering so that should hopefully make it a little cooler as well.

Has anyone used either of these? Do you know if the chrome is any more or less dark to look through than the smoke? Most of my riding is during the day, but once in a while I am out after dark and would like not to have to carry around two shields with me everywhere if I can help it. If the chrome is not as dark as the smoke I might go for that.
