I thought this had gone away with the V-Star, but it appeared under a pile of stuff this weekend. A Nelson-Rigg expando tail pack. Well used, but very serviceable. It fit nicely over the backrest on the rack of the V-Star. Definitely not a sport-bike tailpack.
If you're local, I'll meet you somewhere, otherwise pay shipping.:rider:

It's yours, Chris.
Let me know if you want me to meet you somewhere or mail it to you. I'm off work tomorrow and may be able to get over your way. Wednesday I'll be working at the AA headquarters on Amon Carter Blvd., getting off about 5pm. I could bring it up to you after that.

Do you know Mike Green? He works as a dispatcher for AA somewhere there. He goes by Billyji here. Yeah, I know AA is a big pace.;-)

Ok, Theresa
What does AA (you do mean AmericanAir) have that uses Nurses?
I had thought about Cruise ship Nursing in my younger years, but there are too many old folks on ship. Do they have something set up at the hubs (clinic or something) or do they have a traveling nurse system where you check on employees elsewhere (Goodyear had something like that at one time)?
I'm all ears.

Hey Bill,
American Airlines does have it's own Occupational Health nurses, although scaled way back from what it used to be. From what I understand now it's mostly BAT and DOT urine drug screens. I'm going to do some work for an agency that provides nurses when AA or other places needs help, during vacations and such. I have a friend who works part time for AA doing that and was told that to get on with AA work for the agency first.
What kind of nursing do you do? I gave up the adreneline rush stuff in the hospital and work for an agency doing preop and recovery. It's almost like semiretirement - no nights, no weekends, no holidays.....:thumb:

Mike,
Hey - yes, kind of. I've been working at AFW in Medical but only every now and then through an agency. I've considered applying for a half-time position with AA but the only thing opening up is at DFW. That drive and getting through the airport wouldn't be fun. So I'll just fill in at Alliance when they need help. You work for AA?
BTW now that I'm actually talking to you I'm supposed to tell you that you're famous...

What area do you live in ? I do work for AA. I am at the Flight Academy on the west side of 360. I can see Headquarters across the big open grass field where the airport was for many years. That was long before DFW. Are you going to make the nov 18th.
Wow famous. I think maybe they said infamous rather than famous :lol2:
Mike
P.s. I am one of those licensee that you would be testing. Actually I think over here it is an outside source that comes on campus. Atleast that has been the way it is for several years....

I am NW of Ft. Worth, so Alliance is closest to me.
You probably don't want to have to come see me, since I'd most likely be handing you a little cup to pee in...:lol2:

I know I know
Thankfully since it is a Government license they regulate it. We are in a computer lottery which pulls our names every so often. Ours also includes alcohol...
You are close to Rocky Ridge and Munster !! Too bad Flying P isnt still around

Yes Rocky Ridge is close, I go there sometimes. And I'm thinking of heading up to Red River on the 18th instead of tne ride at Boondox or whereever. Closer for me.

If I get time to load things up ahead of time I'll bring the dirt and DS bikes to Brushy Creek on the 18th. I'll post on the CORRECT thread when I know if I'm going to tag along.
Oh, and I'll be sure to bring along one of those little cups for you........:lol2:

I am glad to see you are going to take care of me LOL :lol2:
Brushy creek is small but fun. Maybe a Marshall creek with a motocross track and no sand.
It will be great for people to learn..
Hye have you been to Bridgeport. I heard a retired AA captain owns that

I haven't been to Bridgeport to ride. I've thought about trying to find it but ended up just riding here at home then.
This thread is hijacked :) I hope OldBMW likes his new tailpack...
I hope to see you guys at Brushy Creek on Sat. New risers are coming for the DRZ125 and hopefully I'll have them on.

I missed getting to ride with you guys. I had worked late on the Friday before and didn't get a chance to load the trailer beforehand, and didn't want to load in the dark on Saturday morning. I stayed here and rode the DR and the little DRZ, enough to get good and sore:) I've got some acreage to ride on, nothing challenging but it beats a long drive sometimes.
I'll meet up with you all eventually!
