Dave picked them up and will recycle them the proper way, on another bike.:rider:
D208 180/55 worn by a certain FJR for 2000 miles. A tad flat in the middle but would make a good track day tire.
Pirelli Strada EMS were on the FZ for 3100 miles, lots of tread left on front and a slight sign of flatness on the rear. Probably another 2000 miles on them. 180/55 and 120/70 front.
All have build dates from 2005 and have been stored inside.
Free for the asking, they are in Denton county.

FJR's don't do burnouts or wheelies, ask my insurance agent.
My experiment with sport tires and big heavy ST bikes was fun, but over now.

Interesting!!!!!hehe What tires did you decied to go with on the FJR. I have tried several and will stick with the pilot roads wet or dry they will hold more road than me and they wear pretty good.

I have Dunlop Qualifiers on the FJR now, and they are almost toast @ 2600 miles. I was happy with the Strada EMS on that bike, great turn-in and 5500 miles out of the rear. I will do tht Stradas again or try Pilot Roads next.
How long did your rear last ?

I have gotten as few as 2400 and as much as 5000 on the rears it depends on where i am riding. Almost all of my riding on the FJR is 2 up. Last year going to Colorado we went a little over 5000 and ther was a littlle left. The hill country seems to just wear them out quick. Lots of rough road surface. If ridden without jack rabbit starts and hard breaking they will go along way.

Chasing FZ 1's through the hill country is exactly why I have no taar left. That chip seal is tough.
Thanks for the feedback bud.
