What
This road, like my other favorites is asphalt, bumpy, twisty, with cattle guards and other obstacles. Lots of deer around too. In fact the whole area around enchanted rock, fredericksburg and llano is a target rich environment for bikers looking for something off of the heavily patrolled roads like 87, 16, and 965. Most of these roads are asphalt but there are a few dirt sections north of Erock. None south of Erock IIRC. A few shots from the video. Starting point is the church in the bustling metropolis of cherry springs
east of US 87, about 15 miles north of Fburg heading east. When I got to fm 2323 I turned right to schneider- Moelinger road to gypsum mine road.
Then a little snooze south on 965 to the first rest stop on the left
(himar road?) which eventually runs into lower crabapple road
which i've touched on before; all the way up to eckert lane. Continue east and you come out near willow city
