Texas National BMW Rally
Held at Lake Belton, Cedar Ridge Park at the Turkey Roost Group Camping area, 10 miles west of Temple, Texas, off TX Hwy. 36. This is the same location as last year. This will be a camping, no frills rally organized by the BMW motorcycle clubs of Texas. No registration fee but camping is $10.00 per tent for the weekend. Hot showers and coffee available. Scratch and I will be heading over Saturday morning. We probably won't be camping though. More than likely, we'll either stay over in Austin or head back East towards his sister's place for the night. I just wanna go meet some beemer folks and check out all the gadets and gizmos on the bikes :-P

That's my plan, too. Ride up and scope out the geeks and their toys, scarf some bubbaque in Belton, and then head south again. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather! 8-)

Things are looking good for me.

Boss won't let me off work Friday till 4:00pm, but I intend to head to Belton Friday evening and camp Friday night and Saturday night.
