I'll be in Temple tomorrow for the BMW Texas National. If we ride down around Austin I really would like to take the "Victory Challenge". I love to ride all kinds of bikes!

Thanks for the heads-up alfair!

:tab Does the Victory challenge include riding their new Vegas Cruiser? If so, I would like that!! It is a sweet looking bike. I especially like the silver and the blue color schemes. I have seen a few out and about on the North side of Houston, very sweet looking bikes.

Adios,

I'll have to check what bikes they'll have. I know they seem to keep quite a few...

I just talked to the guys at ASC, they have all models available to test ride.
I've never even sat on a cruiser style bike...just might have to check one out sometime...

I ride a 2000 Victory Sportcruiser. Definitely not your father's Harley. The guys that designed these bikes built a hefty dose of handling into these things. I've heard that they dumbed them down when they built the Vegas so that the barhopper crowd wouldn't hurt themselves on them, but they're still a blast to ride. Plenty of torque from that 1507cc v-twin engine. If you get a chance, ride the Kingpin. It's supposedly the better handling of the two.
