Hello to all...
To those of you who came out to support our Family Day lst weekend, THANK YOU!! We appreciate your ongoing support and hope that we can continue to provide a fun, safe environment for everyone to ride in!

Although there are many organizations starting to have fall races, we are planning another Family Day on September 30th. This will be the last Family Day until deer season concludes, in January. (with the exception of DBSA's planned event).

Please feel free to come on out, and bring all of your family and friends. We love the time that we get to share with you all!!

We will open our gates from 9-2'ish and will charge the normal $10 per rider.

Hope to see you all there! For any additional info...I can be reached, by cell, at 512-581-8252. I also have a new email address lirpa3979@yahoo.com that I check daily.

This is just West of Austin on Hwy 71.

Directions are here. (http://maps.citysearch.com/location/36213085)

They had Willie's picnic here a few years ago.

I had e-mailed them on their last event a few weeks back off a recommendation from a user on TWT. They didn't get back to me till a week after the event. They did tell me to come out for this event but I don't have enough info on what it's about.

How much riding space do they have and what's the difficulty of terrain?

Do you have any info other than the date and place? Thanks.

There is many miles of trails out there. They have STORM races out there a few times a year. I'm sure they will have 6-8 mile one way HS loop marked off.

The terrain is typical hill country with lots of rocks.Anything you want.

I'll be in a blue Toyota FJ Cruiser with a WR250F and maybe a trials bike.

Cheers,

Matthew

Matthew thanks for the info.

What is a HS section?

I may do that Pie run, or Cross Creek. Not really sure yet. Just wanna ride.

I'll let you know if I decide to go. It'll be a Gold Ford Exploder with a CRF4fidie on a Moto Jack rack on the back.:rider:

I was at CC last weekend.

I'm 100% in for Spicewood. It's too nice a place to not ride it when you have the chance. It's not open to the public, just a few times year.

A HS loop is Hare Scrambles. A long single track trail, through the woods and over the rocks.

They had Willie's Picnic on the 4th of July here a few years ago.

It's a fun place to ride. Very different from Rusty's where we went earlier this month. The trees are smaller and not tight. Plus there are rocks...not loose stuff, but rocks to ride over. Some ledges, some dips, some fun climbs.
