Hey folks!

Found about about this forum from Squeaky.

I will be riding for a year this June and about 3500 miles. First bike was a top heavy 500ish lb 92 Suzuki VX800. Comfortable ergos and decent power...but I just never felt comfortable tossing it around in the corners. So about a month or so ago I picked up an 03 Suzuki SV650S.

Less weight, better suspension, fuel injection, a bit faster...love it. This past Sunday was my first group ride and I fell in love with the SV all over again with each curve. Hope to improve my skills and wear the edge of the tires as much as the centers.

Welcome to TWT! You and Squeaky may be starting a trend with the copper SV. It's a classy color. The Scorpion high pipe looks good too, and I bet it sounds real nice.

They're twins! (well, except for all of Jesse's mods that make it faster, louder, cuter....)

Ok, so I "oficially" have my first modification - I installed my frame sliders and swingarm sliders today. None too soon, either - I almost tipped her over in the parking lot Sunday morning!

Glad you enjoyed the ride Jesse. So far everyone that I've converted over to the "dark side" of group rides has enjoyed it and wanted more. It's an addiction...
