Are we on for this week? I know you have a lot going on right now Scott, so I wasn't sure if we were going to pass for another week.
*Hey you guys n gals in College Station - this is probably a shorter ride for you than me down here in SW Houston. Are finals over yet...?
Scott won't be able to make it. I can head up there but I do not know those roads at all. :-(

Scott, if you give us a route similar to the last time, Pdef and I could probably handle it. Won't be the same without you, but we could order a plate of dry bread and pretend you're there...
Anyone else?

The problem is I don't think I can describe the route and I don't know the street names  I just know where to turn ;-) Some of the roads aren't shown on most maps.
You could always just do the loop up FM 149 to Richards, head down FM 1486 towards Dobbins, then in the 25mph curve where there is a little gas station/cafe on the left, turn left in the right handed part of the curve and go over the train tracks. This takes you down a little lane and half road. There is only one turn. You can either turn or go straight, both options come out on FM 1097. Regardless of which way you go, turn right onto FM 1097 and it will take you back to FM 149 just North of Montgomery.
I'll save the new route for next time ;-)

Since Scott can't make it, it's a long ride at an early hour for me, and many of us will be up in Huntsville Saturday anyway, I'll just go ahead and cancel breakfast this week.
We'll pick back up next week if weather and work schedules allow. As we get into the heat of the summer, the early morning will likely be the most tolerable for rides anyway.

Can we do it a little further north? Maybe Tulsa?

:rofl
While I agree that it's way up there, it's also the best area to quickly catch a great route.
Or maybe I've just gotten used to it...

Becca,
After getting home this evening, I think I am gonna take a pass. Sorry. I am still recovering from my sleep deprivation last week and am not sleeping well. I'd like to get back to normal somewhat before this weekend in Arkansas so I don't do something stupid like drive into another ditch :-P

Ok...
Nobody else chimed in so I'm going to save myself the trip up there.

I was not being facetious. I am in Northern Oklahoma. Thought Tulsa might be about half way.

I knew that hehe, I don't think Squeaky realized it though ;-) But being in Oklahoma, you really couldn't just hop on over to Eureka Springs for the weekend to play with us? ;-)
