Please keep all the service members serving our country in your prayers, especially those in combat zones and those soon to be (once again).

Yesterday it was made public by several news sources that the US Army 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division has been ordered back to Iraq for the 3rd time, “early next year”. As my favorite Sergeant, and son, Anthony (also known as Macktruckturner on this site), is in this Brigade, this means he will be going to Iraq as well, for his second time. This also means that he will not be getting out of the Army in August-2007 as planned when his 4 year active duty commitment has been completed; he is being “stop-loss”-ed.

Please keep Anthony, and all those who are just trying to do their part to try to make the world a better place, in your prayers. I know they appreciate it.

You got it, Ed. You and Anthony are in my prayers.

As well as all of the father's, mother's, daughter's and son's that are currently, and on green ramp to go, that are deployed around this world supporting, protecting and providing freedom for us and a people that has not experienced such at thing in thousands of years. God bless them all as well as the families and people that support them.

:tab He's already been on the list ;-) I just read the other night that Bush is wanting to send an additional 20K troops to Iraq. As soon as I saw that, I thought immediately of Anthony... I guess my fears were right  He's got a good head on his shoulders, so here is praying he comes back whole, physically and otherwise

Stop-loss can be a real drag.

Try to have some fun while you are there Anthony.

Will keep Anthony in our prayers and hearts. The folks in the military are doing a fantastic job under very bad circumstances, we need to just bring them home.

I try to always keep our servicemen in mind. Truely corageous folks to do what they do for us all.
I have spoken with Anthony many times over the past year and he is a great guy.

Ed,

We will certainly keep your son in our prayers. As the father of two marines that both served two tours in Iraq, I know exactly how you feel.

My boys are both home now and both ride bikes in the north Houston area.
