What: This shop has a pretty decent selection of accessories and gear. They tend not to stock most parts beyond oil filters and such, which is typical of most dealers. They have a great selection of fluids, oils, cleaners, and other bike maintenace stuff. They sell Yamahas, Hondas, and Suzukis mostly. They don't really have a very large selection of used bikes compared to other dealerships.

:tab If you are getting parts, most of the parts counter guys are knowledgeable and helpful. If you are interested in buying a bike, ask for Travis. He actually knows bikes and is not just a salesman. I've never bought a bike from them so I don't know what kinds of deals they are willing to make. I've also never had any service done there as I tend to shy away from dealerships when having work done on the bikes

:tab They are not cheap if you want tires. I tried getting a Dunlop D205 rear tire and they wanted full retail of nearly $175 and another $50 to mount it on a single sided swingarmed VFR! No thanks. They keep only the most popular sport tires in stock and some dirt stuff. No sport-touring tires at all.

I too have found them to be a bit high priced, however they have helped me out from time to time for little or no cost. Price on bikes is good cheaper then there norther counterparts.

I purchased a Superhawk from them a couple of years ago and got a pretty good deal. I have had sevice work done there for a reasonable cost and the work was done right the first time.

I recently need some service work done on my BMW R1150RT so I called Wild West Honda. I didn't know it but WW and CS are sister dealers. I was able to drop off my BMW at CS. WW came to CS and picked up my bike and did the service work at WW. Jerry Frost at CS and Dan of WW made sure that my bike was well taken care of and helped arrange this service.
Thanks Jerry and Dan!

This worked out great for me and saved me a full day sitting around the dealer.

WW told me that they are going to start offering this service, best part is that it was free.

Apparently they are aware of the new BMW dealership being built in The Woodlands.

Yes, the accessory dept. is pretty good but if you know what you want and they don't have it in stock they can get it in a day or two.

Returns or exchanges have never been a problem, always a smooth transaction. Steve knows his parts and is a great help.

Steve is a member here ;-) I sure wish I had known about the drop off thing!!! I have been taking my bike all the way down to Pasadena to Gulf Coast BMW... Only having to get to Conroe would save me a crapload of time!

I am a long time customer of Cycle Shack North.. I have purchased 4 bikes from them and they have always taken care of me! Travis is one of the best salespersons I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with!

Steve is also such a great guy! If you need anything from the parts department, he will take care of you!

Great lil shop, excellent motorcycle prices!

:tab Steve is actually a member here but he visits only infrequently. He's the guy I always ask for when I go down there. Travis is a great guy, fun to ride with as well. Works a straight deal when selling bikes and actually knows what he is talking about. The other salesman is 100% clueless about the bikes he is selling. For him it is just a job, not a passion!

Adios,

I know Travis too. I've known CSN since the early 1980's. I've bought several bikes from them. Travis has always been straight with me on any deal. For 5 years, I ran a small shop in Conroe. I bought all my parts from CSN by "arrangement". I also had an arrangement with the service department. When they had an urgent job and just could not get to it, they sent the customer to me. Typically, they had a big back log of service in those days. When a job came into my small shop, one I didn't feel competent to undertake, I sent it to them. Mutual back scratching worked well. I spent a lot of money there. Good people. Have not been in there in about 13 years, however, so how they are now, I know not. DocJR
