Went up Georgetown today. Needed the Perilli MT66 mounted and having called around Central Texas Power Sports (http://www.ctpowersports.com/) would mount it for $25. They are about 10 miles up the Interstate from me. Grabbed the tire and the wheel.
I got there and the service guy tells me they have orders from the owner to sell at cost any tire. If you have a better deal on the web they well beat it. They mounted my MT66 with the dot lined up correctly and equal weights on both sides on the ridge. (if you read the Parnes method (http://www.marcparnes.com/balancing_instructions.htm)of balancing) this would be a prefered method.

So there you have it, tires at cost and reasonable rates, quality work. I well rate these folks as a thumbs up.

They carry the other Japanese brands not Honda and they carry KTM. Polite, friendly, courteous, good product knowledge.

I really like them, but haven't used their repair shop in years. I bought the V-Strom from them and they did me right. There are some residual horror stories about the place, but I haven't heard anything but good stuff since the change in ownership a couple of years ago. :thumb:

Two thumbs up for Central Texas Powersports. After reading and hearing so many dealer horror stories these guys look like heroes to me. You might be able to find a lower internet price elsewhere on the purchase of a bike or ATV, but they price their stuff fairly and their parts and service guys are first-rate. After the ownership change a couple of years ago this place really woke up--best shop I've seen for buying tires, too.:thumb:

Last Thursday I bought my Suzuki C90T VL1500TK6 from them after doing a lot of looking around. They maintained their pleasant attitude throughout several return visits to them for lots of questions. Good price, informative, helpful both in sales and parts.

I bought my SV1K there this year and bought their Pit Pass as well. I get all the scheduled maintenance done for 3 years at no charge (other than the original price for the pass), I am put at the front of the line for service, and I get free oil/filter changes every 2K miles. I'm very particular about my maintenance, but I thought, why not try it? Well, to date, they've done a great job and the service has been right up my alley in saving me time. Their customer service has been stellar.

+1 on central texas power sports and the pit pass. Don't forget you also get free mounting balancing on tires with the pit pass.
