I'll probably take a ride down to Bastrop the 4th, my Dad's birthday is the 4th and I dunno how many more he'll be around so I try to show up on them. :)

Anybody have any ride plans for the weekend? The family is out of town for the weekend its just me and the Kawasaki. I just plan to load up and head out no direction just find roads that look good and ride

Hopefully, the roads won't be under water by then!! If you are headed to the Hill Country, that could be a serious issue. Things are not much better over here in East Texas.

Adios,

I'm thinking about riding down to Galveston Saturday and driving the coast line. Maybe Surf side to Crystal beach and just whatever from there.

Let me know if you want to join me.

Not really sure of a route Marble Falls would work or maybe something out the way of Bellville/Brenham I will probably ride all three days as I am single for the weekend

Not quite single for the weekend but I did get out of the family gig. My wife hurt her shoulder, so can't ride, or even sit upright for long stretches. Ergo, no long drive out to Boerne. 8-)

Probably just gonna putter around the lakes on some early-morning rides, this weekend, and spend the afternoons with my wife.

Have fun, wherever you go!

Still a possible Austin breakfast run next Sunday, July 11th. Watch the Upcoming Rides page for updates.

Leaving my house at 6:00am, picking up any additional riders at the Wendy's on 242 and 45 at 7:00am. Heading out to Gilmer, TX 300 miles away. We will maintian a quick pace which will be within 10 to 15 of the posted speed. We will ride until we run out of fuel which will be about 150 miles. The stops will be brief and quick.

A stop for lunch will be short and sweet, 30 minutes or less. We will take a few back roads, but most will be a little more major. We are headed to Tarver's Ferry 15 miles north of Gilmer. Take our photo and head home. The goal is to be back home between 6 and 7.
