What do you ride and how long have you been doing it ?
For sure you'll find something to do if you follow the "Upcoming Rides" forum.

Howdy Stu, welcome to the site!
Dbdolan and Desmo do a lot of DS riding on their KLR 650's. They tend to hit areas North of Houston. I am sure there are some folks closer to the West side of town, STrider comes to mind but he has been lazy and not tagged his XR650R

Another welcome, Stu.
The west side of Houston seems kind of boring and flat (unless you go past Belleville). We usually head north. Watch for upcoming rides soon. Most are not real organized, but (to me at least) real fun.

Hey Stu,
I'm in the Spring Branch area and have a GSA 1150, and I am looking for some DS stuff as well. There are a bunch of guys and gals you will be able to find to do some DS riding with. Keep looking on this forum or the ADVRider.com forum.
Oh yeah, welcome to the site

Welcome, I have been known to take the 950 offroad west of Houston.

Howdy
Looks like we might be taking a ride west Saturday morning, but we don't know yet if it will be all paved or just mostly paved. So far 2 VStroms and 2 GS's.
When I know for sure when/where the start will be I'll post it up.

Thanks for the welcome.
I have been away from riding for the past twelve years.
I have a DR350SE, which is not the best open rode bike but I am primarily interested in the back roads and trails.

Oh Rats, it's my son's birthday this weekend, so I can't do anything. Hope you have good weather.
Ditto on the howdy to saturnsb.
