RPM Cycles website (http://www.rpmcycletx.com/)
Where: Near Walnut Hill and I-35 in NW Dallas
What: Triumph dealer
They have some really interesting pieces of motorcycle history. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hang around and check it out very long because of work.
My 95 Speed Triple had developed what acted like a stuck float valve. I'd torn the carbs down when I bought the bike and discovered the pilot jet was clogged on the middle carb. I'd had enough trying to get the mixture right on the 3 carbs and also synch them and decided to get some professional help. Keith & the gang rebuilt the carbs replacing all the O-rings & fuel lines, set the mixture with O2 taps in the headers and synched the carbs. The bike runs amazing now. I felt like they did a very good job of rebuilding/tuning and met all their time commitments. It was money well spent, if nothing else, just to see what the true potential of the bike was.
Just gotta find some time to go back by and spend a little time scoping out the old Triumphs.
