Sold - Fs: 2005 Zzr-600

Up for sale is my wife's '05 ZZR-600. Impending graduate school is bringing about the sale of this bike. The bike has 8900 miles. Bike is stock with the following exceptions. It has a pair of Heli-bars handlebars, moving the grips up an inch and back about a half inch. We still have the stock handlebars and they'll go with the bike. The bike also has a Dual Stars heated grip kit installed. Lastly, we will be including a Renntec luggage rack in the sale. It is not currently installed, and has never been used. Cosmetically, the bike is sound with the exception of a one-inch scratch in front of the filler cap on the tank. It's been garage kept and has never been down. We have clear title in hand. The ZZR has the Good Times Protection Plan extended warranty that expires on 04/08/2010. Asking $4500 for the bike.

Has the bike been lowered? I am looking for a bike for my wife. The only problem is she is only 5' tall and I am having problems finding something she can touch the ground on.

Yes, the bike is still available. And yes, the ad's for real. Boog, you never got an answer from me because you never PM'd me about the bike. No, the bike has not been lowered. But it probably will need to be if your wife is only 5' tall. The price still stands at $4750.00. If anyone wants more pics, PM me your email address and I'll send them to you.

One thing to keep in mind also is that the insurance on these is relatively cheap compared to similar sportbikes. It's considered a sport-touring bike, although the only touring part I can figure out is that the bars were raised a little from the original 98-02 ZX6R that it's based on. $4750 is a pretty good price - where were you in December of last year? :doh:

****, that's wholesale price. I can't believe no one has bought this thing. I have the '06 myself, someone is definitely missing out on this one. The ZZR-600 is under appreciated in my opinion. I was thinking of selling mine, but it turns out I'm too attached to it.

See if Ultimate Motors in Ft Worth will buy it from you (for that price, they might).
