I'm planning a trip out to Moab this fall and wanted to see if anyone is interested in going along. Right now the plan is to truck/trailer the bike to the Durango/Silverton area, park the truck, ride the western slope over into Utah and spend a few days around Moab and then return to Colorado.

I was planning on two days up, a week to ten days of riding, and two days back. Nothing is carved in stone so far as dates as of yet so if you're interested let me know. I'm pretty flexible.

F it. Let's go.

stwolf,

:tab You are tormenting me with that trip proposition. There are so many awesome places to ride out there. If you go, be sure to hit Hwy 12 all the way over to 89. Hit Bryce Canyon National Park on 12 and then run 89 down to Zion National Park. The ride is incredible, like nothing else on the planet, literally.

:tab I can't go :-|

:tab Welcome to the site!

Adios,

I'll put your suggestions on the must ride side of the page. Tips and ideas like these are much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes sir, I can't wait to get out there on the bike. I've flown over the area many times traveling back & forth to San Jose and can't wait to see it from ground level. I know it sounds goofy but this trip is high on the list of "things to do before I die."

BTW, thanks for putting this board together. Hopefully some of us Texicans can get together and put a few miles on our bikes together.

Is this going to be a dirt road ride, serious off road, or somewhere in between? What are you riding? I've spent some time mountainbiking/ 4wheeling/ dirtbiking Moab. Great place. I'll see what the wife says....
