After much soul searching, I have decided to sell my recently damaged 2004 Aprilia
Futura with approximately 8000 miles.
It is stock with the exception of a PCIII with custom FI mapping created by AF1 Racing.
This really made a difference in the performance of the bike. Smoothed out the engine and
seemed to make the powerband more linear.
The stock tires were replaced about 2000 miles ago with a Pilot Power in the front
and a Pilot Road in the rear.
About 3 months ago, as I was leaving a parking lot I hit some sand or gravel and dumped
the bike on the ground. The left side of body work is pretty scraped up. I believe the only
mechanical issue is the shifter mounting casting and the left hand mirror. I have
purchased a new clutch lever. The rest I am leaving up to the new owner.
It includes the color matching saddle bags. They were not on the bike at the time of the drop.
AF1 seems to think the bike, in it's present state, is worth $3500. This is my asking price.
It is negotiable.
It currently is in New Braunfels at AF1 racing. I won't be able to retrieve it for a couple weeks.

If you have any questions, I will answer them to the best of my ability. Several people have asked
me about buying parts from the bike. I really hate to part out a bike that runs this good.
If nobody is interested in it as is, the great guys at AF1 have offered to buy it at a slightly reduced price.
I believe they plan on parting it out.
