you might try posting over on the Triumphrat.net forum for this. And Good Luck, they are sweet bikes.

Keep me posted on how you make out. I was searching but never found one remotely near Austin = airplane ride$$ + long ride home(time).

Don't worry about the color, you can get the entire bike painted for $300. I've already cut/painted my fenders, very easy and cheap (rattle rattle). Fwiw, I ended up purchasing a demo bike for a tidy drop in price.

The Thruxton is a ton of fun.

Ya, i don't have patience so I just might end up with an 06 leftover from the local dealer.

I was thinking that too, since I was looking last February for a Thruxton. For whatever reason, I saw several year older bikes at the same price as current year.

But I also noticed some dealers selling the model for $800 or so under most dealers. Again, it was going to require travel so I blew it off and stayed local.

Not sure where you live, but if you are near central or north Texas, give the Euro Shop of Waco a call and see if they have a demo ready for sale. Unless your trying to find one in the $6k range.

Well, I found one! I sealed the deal last night for $5500 and fly out to Little Rock to pick her up in a couple weeks.

2004 with only 2700 miles, TORs, Airbox Removal Kit, Bikin Fairing, AI Removal, Fender Eliminator, New Indicators, and Rejet with Jenks Bolts needles, shims and jets. And all stock parts.

Thanks for the help!

Man I hate to see someone getting into a brand new bike, then having to sell. Hope he moves it soon.

d2mini, pm bushwhacker on this site about routes from Arkansas. Congrats on the bike. Now be sure and get hooked up with the local RAT group. You chose wisely. :)
