SOLD
For those who missed the Joe Rocket Textile Overpants, you may be interested in these - First Gear HT Overpants. Men's size 36. Used, a bit faded, recently treated with NikWaxTech Wash and TX Direct Wash-In waterproofing. Includes liner and temperfoam knee and hip armor. These were inspected in Oct 2004 and I think I got them about 2 years ago. All zippers, snaps, buckles and velcro are fine. Current MSRP on a new pair (version 2.0) is $179.95.
I'll let these go to a good home for $85.00, plus $15.00 shipping if you can't pick them up. PayPal is okay.

You're sure getting rid of a lot of stuff... You're not giving it up, are you?

No, not at all. I am just doing my Spring Cleaning a month or two early.
I recently bought some perforated leathers, which will take the place of some of this gear and I plan to get away from overpants and just go with textile pants and/or leathers.
I'm still keeping my Hein Gericke Tuareg textiles and looking for a couple of other things that I want. Selling some of this gives me some $$$ to buy new stuff (it's an addiction, I think :rider: )
Maybe some more stuff to come, got to decide if I really need 2 black leather riding jackets and maybe a few other things. I tend to buy 2 of everything...I guess I like having back-ups :lol2:

What size waist do you wear usually? I take it being overpants they need to be a size or two bigger than your actual pant size?
Hmmmmm, I may be interested......

I wear 36 x 30 Levi's, because I can't find 35 waist Levi's as often as I used to be able to. The First Gear Overpants are kind of big with just running shorts and still plenty comfortable over jeans
Here's the link to First Gear, showing the newest version of these (2.0)

Ditto, I wear 36x32 pants and I also wear the size 36 HT overpants. Even with the liners in, and wearing thick jeans under them, they are roomy.

I have those, too. They're great, even in summer, just remove the lining.
Great score for someone.

Thanks DFW_Warrior and Texas Shadow.
On the subject of the liner, these can get quite "toasty" with the liner in. Actually, they're pretty darn hot with the liner in, unless it's in the mid 40's or lower, when worn as overpants, with jeans underneath.

The Firstgear overpants are sized to fit over your normal size, so buy the size that you normally wear.

Yup, I'm a weather weenie. ;-)
