Nice bike. I want to do some of those mods on my GS.

Just curious, why are you getting rid of her?

I'm going to get an ST1300 since all I seem to do is road ride, I'll miss the GS like crazy though. Financials keep me at a one bike man though.

Hmmm, then what's that "other" thing in the garage, a skinny car? :lol2:

Oh, very nicely done GS by the way...

Cheesh, I wish that car was mine. My mom drives that. I live in an apartment and I had to go over to my parents house to wash the bike and take pictures while I was there! That's a nice car, but I get along fine with my 02 Chevy pickup! Oh well, maybe someday.

Oh, okay. I was actually poking fun at the barely visible Harley in the single garage...I didn't even notice the actual car :-)

Again, very nicely done GS, but I hope you have it sold befoe I'll be in the market (which will be August/September at best :eek2: )

Are you keeping your ST? Do you have an ST?

Nice looking GS. I almost bought one, but decided on the V-Strom. My last bike was a '04 ST1300. Nice bike but it was too small for my full figured body. My next bike will be the Concours 1400. Have you checked that one out yet?

Yeah I have, but I've never been a fan of Kawasaki. Looks like it'll be a ringer though!

Had any luck selling your bike yet? I've got an 05 ST and have been thinking about an 1150 or 1200 GS. Hmmm

Well, I've got a pending sale, and I already bought the new 07 light silver ST1300 abs. I'm hoping this sale goes through!

Ok, give me an idea of what this bike is about. You've got 14K miles, how is it on the highway? Top speed? Fuel mileage, range? Is this a real all around bike? Let me know. Also, is this one available?

:tab This bike is about fun! Great power, fantastic handling, pack mule abilities, easy maintenance, and did I mention fun? They are great on the highway and very comfy. Top speed on the 1150 was around 125-130mph, I would expect the 1200 to be a little higher since it is considerably lighter and makes more power. I did not get to test that particular aspect of performance while riding a 1200. The EVO brakes take a little getting used to until you develop a feel for them. The ABS can be switched off if desired. Those footpegs are mucho nice if you do any standing. The stock pegs are thin and will make your foot start hurting if you stand very long (off road/unpaved riding). If you are feeling adventurous, you can mount up some TKC-80 knobbies and have fun. To really see the 1200 in action, head over to Advrider.com and search the Ride Reports section for 1200 GS :trust:

Scott, got it right!
My fun scale:
1. '07 R1200GS is 10+
2. '72 Honda CL350 is 10,
3. '03 Bonneville T100 is 9.

There are a lot of bikes better off road, in the twisties, on the slab for 600 miles a days, riding two up, or fully loaded for a trip to anywhere but the GS is in the top 10 in every catagory. And it's so ugly, it's cute.

The R12GS is a blast to ride.

I put some TKC80s on my and was really surprised how fun it is off-road.

Air'em down and go scare the wildlife!:rider:
