there was some discussion about this on ST-Owners.com (www.st-owners.com) awhile ago, didn't see any links to hitches, but you might go have a look over there

Unfortunately, the site (STOWNERS.COM) went down recently and a bunch of the information was lost. I did a search on the posts with this in them and the only hitch manufacturer I can find that does a ST1300 is in Austraila. I did contact McHitch in Logan, IA - he told me that if someone would come and leave a ST1300 for a couple of days, that he would start building hitches for them. If anyone in that area that has a ST1300 is interested, he can be contacted at 712-648-2377. He also implied a person could get a good deal on one if they did that. Evidently, they are building (fabricating) hitches for more and more motorcycle models.

I was just putting out my feelers to see if there was anyone with a used one they wanted to part with. If you hear of any, please let me know. Thanks.

You may want to contact "georgegeorge" on St-Owners... he built a trailer for his ST1300, and I think he put together his own hitch ;-)

Thanks sherob. I'll do that. I was thinking that I'd try to fabricate my own too. Maybe he has some drawings and dimensions to make it easier.

Looking for a hitch for a Honda ST1300.

go to http://www.speedwagonmanufacturing.com
they are located in Michigan
I bought a trailer hitch for my Yamaha FJR1300 from them and very happy
with it
I found them on a ST1300 site and they said on the site that they made some
ST1300 hitches and had them for sale, and they also had 2 FJR hitches for sale

you can get one in Australia for about $400 or you can get one from
Bustec trailers for about $400 or you can get one from SpeedWagon
for about $200.00

SpeedWagon makes trailers for bikes

Thanks, I'll call. The link is rather confusing to their site. It seems to include many businesses.

I finally found a link for motorcycle hitches from Wikco.Com Inc., 1467 N Grant Ave., Casa Grande AZ 85222, 866-464-8893. It costs $275 plus shipping.

Thanks for all the help.

I ordered one. It should ship this morning and be here in about a week. It is supposed to be chromed as well. The price was $275, plus shipping.

No, it looks like what you'd use to tow a Harley to a rally with, if you could find a hitch that would fit :thpt:
