SOLD thanks TWT Hi, I have a 03 KLR650 for sale. it has 34,100 +/- miles on it and has been riden on road and off. It has been very well maintained -fresh Oil and filter every 2k, air filter clean every 1k, valves every 5k, new front and rear wheel bearings and fork seals about 5k ago, suspension torn down and greased every 10k. currently running Gripsters front 75% rear 40%, chain and sprockets in good condition and fuses are relocated. The bikes still got lots of miles left in it.
The plastics are in bad shape on this bike they looks better in these pics than they do up close. I started to paint them desert tan but never got to the tank and rear fender some of the paint is peeling on the fairing. one of the side plates was torn up in a lay over so I cut them back like dirt bike plates. This bike has had several low speed layovers offroad and has lots of cosmetic nicks and scratches none of them affect the performance.
Ive added so much stuff to it I cant even remember it all but some of the major items are.
happy trails crash bars $275 ( one bar is bent and cracked)
progressive shock rear $400
progressive springs front $75
skid plate $75
ss front brake line $45
pro taper bars $65
offroad pegs $40
grip heaters $30
rear brake reservoir guard $25
doohicky done
acerbis handguards $50
a droskil (pelican case type) top box mounted on rear rack $70
The KLR is truly a do it all bike It was my first bike and Ive had many great adventures on it. I hate to sell it but Ive replaced it with other bikes (it actually took 3 bikes to replace it) just cant stand to see it sitting around collecting dust.
