Yes, The 2004 Rally will be held ON THE STRAND. We are adding a lot of new activities that will take place on other parts of the Island. This year the event is going to be much larger than 2003 with much more to do.

My kids will be back in school. My wife will be working again so I'll have money. The weather may have cooled off.

Our little band will be riding from East Texas to Galveston on Friday September 24, 2004.

Anyone who wishes to ride with us is Welcome!!!!

Our route will be US69 south; Rusk, Lufkin, Kountze, then 326/124 to High Island, then west on 87 to the ferry.

I will be at the Love's Truck Stop on the east loop in Lufkin at high noon on Friday, September 24th. It's located here...

You can join in anywhere along the way. We will be about 5~7 bikes, my blue BMW-RT, a Honda Magna, a Nighthawk, a Roadstar, an HD Road King, a Buell, and maybe a Goldwing.

We don't have any club affliations or strictures. We're just local guys and gals. We ride at least the speed limit but stop about once per hour.

I don't have any lodging reservations, but I have a good lead on some floorspace at the Mayflower motel on Seawall Blvd. I'll also have my tent and stove just in case I wind up in a field somewhere.

There are 4 of us going down to this.. Should be heading out 12-3pm Friday. Camping at some balloon place (or blimp) hang out fri night and sat and come home Sunday (as it stands now) So if you see a 94 cbr 1k, 81 kz1100, 05 warrior, and a roadster that will most likely it will be us..

ya'll don't forget to stop by the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Assoc. show/swap meet on Saturday at PO's on Telge Road if you get a chance.

I know its a long way from Galveston....but for those in the area, or passing thru, this will be a nice relief from all those Harleys.

Well we have had a change in plans due to the weather. We are going north tomorrow. We are heading up to Joplin Mo. Hope to roll in there about 8 or 9 fir night and ride sat around there then home Sunday. Anyone knows good roads up there..
