This is a tribute to a dear friend, boss and pillar for motorcyclists nation wide. Gary Shoenfeld was a Chief Rider Coach that worked for the Texas DPS motorcycle division. He taught my Rider Coach class in 1996. Gary was a rock in the fight to make motorcycling a safe and fun way of life for many thousands of people in this state. His wit and charm made him one of a kind. The motorcycling community in this country lost an incredible person in 2005. It was an honor knowing him. He will have an everlasting effect on motorcycling in this state. Take care my brother..... Fire Tex
