Many folks think that this is one of the best books for a beginning or even a returning street rider. I know I found many useful and thought provoking topics in it.

Please understand that I am not putting restrictions on this, but I'd personally like to see this book go to our group of new or starting riders first.

If interested, post here. I just ask that it after you read it, that it gets passed on to the next person who requests it.

Not sure about Ming's. I haven't been there yet, but if the weather is like last night's was it might be the time to give it a try. I couldn't make it down to Clearlake last night due to another engagement.
Anybody riding over from the Deer Park / Pasadena area or parts in between, that I can I tag along with so it'll be easier to find for a first-timer?

:thumb: This book is pretty good.... I skimmed over it, and will begin reading this weekend. Looks like it has some good info in there and is well written. Pictures are dated, but the concepts never expire. :sun:

This is a good read even for an experienced rider!! It never hurts to refresh on the basics. Wasn't there a famous football coach that always hammered that to his players, "This... is a football gentlemen...!" Sometimes we overlook the basics because we get over confident.

I just loaned out my copy this evening. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

Steven..... did we meet once? Did I meet you in the lobby of that building one day and tell you about this forum? I talked to some guy there a while back. I used to work in that building as of a month ago. Now Im a block over on 1001 Louisiana (El Paso building)

I have this book. It's great. I would keep it no matter what the experience. It's a great reference to keep on hand. Need to review how to handle lane edges? There it is.
