Anyone want to go ride Muenster this sunday my usual ride partner is out of town and I dont like to ride the deep woods areas solo, the weather looks perfect and I want to get in as much practice as possible before the RR enduro next month. Im mostly gonna keep it to a fun casual pace so any skill level is welcome to come along.

I should be out there with a couple of others. Usually we get there by 9:30 a.m.
I will post up later in the week when we decide who is driving so you will be able to recognize our truck.
Cheers,

There will be a bunch of riders at the big pavillion that will be more than happy to let you ride with them. I won't be able to make it but I ride or have ridden with a good many of them and I know they will more than welcome another rider. Don't think about the fact that 99.99% of them will be on pumkins, they like to ride with anyone that likes the dirt. Ask for the rider known as Myosin and tell him I sent you.

We will be leaving FW around 6:20 a.m. on Sunday.
We will be in my lt. brown Dodge Ram pulling a small trailer with a KTM and a KX.
We only have a few hours to ride, so our plan is to get warmed up and hit it hard for a couple of hours.
Cheers,

Dennis,
How did your ride go?
We had a good ride, Backspinn got back from vacation sat. night and decieded to go along we also meet up with a few guys from the Yahoo red river motorcycle trails board I never saw waverider but we didnt get there untill 11:30 you may have already left, also didnt make it over to camp KTM but I greatly apreciate the offer to let me ride with them. the place was packed most bikes Ive ever seen out there. We rode about 5 hours mostly in the woods following some enduro markers found some great new trails, Chris coaxed me into trying some crazy steep hill climb I wasnt sure about it since there was a card stapled to a tree near the bottom with a big "A" on it Im trying to point out the card to him but he's already blasting his way to the top, now he's standing at the top waving and saying come on its not that bad! Ok so now I have no choice I back up to get a run at it and haul *** about 3/4 of the way up Im thinking I've got this made i still have some momentum and the engines still revving then I notice the big rocks 5' from the top of the hill :eek2: Ok I didnt panic just aim for what looks like the best line and keep going but I was starting to slide back on the seat and the front wheel takes off skyward when it hits the rocks I slide straight off the back of the bike, it gets launched and comes down hard on the rocks I landed on my feet and slid about 15 feet back down the hill, thought for sure the bike would be banged up but it just had a few scratches on the side plate and a little ding on the footpeg Next time Im sure I will make it just have to concentrate on keeping my wieght forward and on the of the pegs.
We had a great day I was toast by the end of it. Hope to get to ride with all of you out there some time soon

We were just finishing up about that time. We were loaded on the trailer and rolling out the front gate by 11:50.
We will have to hit it again when we have more time.
