Trying to add "SOLD"

to an item in the "For Sale" section.

In the "detail" view it changes. In the "topic" view it doesn't, it stays true to the original.

Am I doing something wrong or is that the way it works? I see other's have done it.

For some reason it won't let users alter the original title in the thread list. It could be I have overlooked a setting. I or one of the mods usually adds the SOLD to the ones you see.

Well, we changed the forum software from phpBB to VBulletin some time back... ;-)

Oh, I though I'd done it since then... I was able to for the Triumph, was it that long ago? Heck I don't know. I have since needed to go back and correct a spelling or something. Frustrating, but then I am used to looking like an idiot.
