Howdy,
:tab Next weekend, April 27th, is the annual Ride for Kids event in Houston.
http://www.ride4kids.org/houston/index.htm
:tab This is a charity ride as most of you already know. I plan on heading down there Sunday morning. If you are coming to my ride on Saturday and are from out of town (Austin, San Antonio, DFW, etc,...) you are welcome to stay here Saturday night if you'd like to attend this event. There are ususally several hundred bikes present. There will be a short parade ride and then lunch. The ride is not really the big draw. It is more the opportunity to see so many bikes, meet so many people, and to raise the money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor research. The current predictions for the weather next weekend look excellent!
:tab I plan on donating in the name of TWT. If you can't make it but woulkd like to contribute to the cause, please feel free to send me a check, money order or cashier's check made out to:
Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the US
302 Ridgefield Court
Asheville, NC 28806
Or you can mail it directly to them at the above address. Please note that you are doing it as part of the TWT effort. You can also send me money via the paypal donation link on the DONATIONS link from the main page of this site. ALL of the money you send, minus the annoying paypal fees, will go straight to the PBTF.
My address is:
Scott Friday
1617 Woodland Lane
Huntsville, Tx. 77340
Any questions or comments, please drop me a note.
