What: Recommended by track day afficianados, the Days Inn is a comfortable, no-frills motel that is less than 15 minutes from the MotorSport Ranch (http://www.motorsportranch.com) in Cresson.

The rooms are nice, once you get past the green carpet. :-D

It actually has a very nice inner courtyard and pool area, for a roadside motel.

There's satellite TV with a reasonable number of channels, including HBO, and my room had a small refrigerator. They have a minimal continental breakfast starting at 6:00 a.m.

Prices are in the $60-70/night range.

The green carpet is very zen...

You focus on it the night before, and chant "stay away from green tomorrow, stay away from green tomorrow".
