Today my girlfriends grandmother (known as Mamaw) is going in for surgery.

She has breast cancer, and is having it removed. She is in pretty good shape, but all prayers and thoughts are appreciated.

OK, so I'm late. hope the surgery went well. keeping everyone in prayer :pray:
 
Update!!

We went up to see her Sunday. We woke her up (shoulda called first...) but she was up and about, in good spirits. She had a bad reaction to the meds the first day, so she is pretty much sticking to Aleve and Advil for pain relief, but she seems to be doing great. Follow up doctor visit is scheduled for the 5th, I believe, but it is all looking good now.
