I have managed to go 18 years since the last time I picked up a nail in a motorcycle tire.

how hard are these modern low pro radials to break down?
I spoon on and ballance the old school skinny bias ply tires on my old GS's, I have never broke down one of these low wide radials.

I took mine to Terry's Tires on 67 Bus and he patched/plugged it for $10. course I have the distinct advantage of having a SSSA so its mostly a car rim.
I haven't done tires on my bike myself. I'm hoping to get a setup to do them myself at some point.

bubble gum and a tek screw will fix it right up...
They aren't hard once you have the technique down. I find the tar rope plugs to be just as effective as an internal patch. Never had one fail and I've done a dozen or so on my my bikes and others.

well, at least it was a good one!!
Just plugged the rear tire of my FJR in about the same place - the tar rope plugs have never failed me on either the cars or bikes. Get a kit from Auto Zone for about $8.

I had two flats on the same back tire...I got rid of it. Figured it was snake bit to begin with.
