I did the search and found that several folks on this forum use the Habor Frieght tire changer, http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=34542 .

Would I also need to get the motorcycle adapter, http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=42927 , in order to change my tires without alot of trouble or damage to my rims? Also, any recommendations on balancers, or associated tire removal tools, tips, techniques and where to get wheel weights?

Thanks,

kurt

You'll need rim protectors if you use spoons. Some people use cut up plastic jugs instead, but I find the real thing cheap and easy to use. Get the long spoons (3) if you plan on using them or a Mojolever (No-Mar now sells theirs separately for a little more). For balancing, I have a Marc Parnes balancer. I still use the aerosol Yamaha mounting lube and bought wheels weights at an auto parts store.
