Do you have any detail pics of the bike by itself?
I am in the market to purchase right now and am looking for essentially what you have here. :)

Also, I'm going to assume it's never been down/wrecked etc, or anything like that? :)

That is a nice looking Busa. So far, the Busa is the only bike I've ever regretted selling. Mine was an '03.

Sure, the link to the bike pics has individual pics of the Busa. If you display them in "original" size they are pretty large and should supply the detail you need. If you want me to take a closeup of anything in particular let me know.
It's never been down/wrecked.

You might want to make one correction to that picture link. Right now it sends you to page 3 of your smugmug gallery, but the Busa pics are on page 2.

Oops. Thanks for letting me know. The Busa pics are on page 1 and page 2 and the link is fixed to link to page 1.

Hey, thanks for the reply!
Is that a full system or cans only (the exhaust)? What kind of tread life is left on the tires? And lastly, while I like Marchesini's I'm not sure they're worth $1,500 to me on this bike. :D Any flexability on that?
If you are free Saturday or Sunday I'd like to come up and take a look at it. :)
Thanks a bunch!

A bump for Loki. I purchased his Speed Triple that he had for sale. He was tempting me to test ride the Busa but I just knew if I had one taste of it I'd buy it...he probably knew the same thing.
I only caught a glimpse of it, but if it's in the same condition the Triumph is (I'm sure it is), it will be a heckuvaclean bike.

Hi Jeffrey,
The Two Brothers are cans only. The rear tire has 900 miles. The front is spent but I'll have a fresh one on by Friday because the bike is going in for its 7500 mile service.
I can take the Marchesini's off and sell them seperately but, at this point am not willing to negotiate on the adder for them. They were $2000 with the different sprocket that was needed. I've seen other sets go on Ebay for $1500 - $1700 and used that in setting the price. If it matters to you at all they're not just cosmetic. They reduce the unsprung weight by ~8 lbs per wheel and I can say they make a very noticeable difference in handling, suspension action, braking, and acceleration over the stock wheels.
I will be in the area this weekend and we can try to get together if you're still interested. If the weather cooperates I may just be on a ride in your neck of the woods. One of my normal rides goes out through Wimberley, Bandera, and Sisterdale. Send me a PM and I can give you my cell number.

Thanks for the plug. You should've ridden it...I'm telling you. ;-)

Yeah, my guess is I'll end up regretting it too.

Oh I hear ya about the Marchesini's, I had a set on a GSXR750. :)
I'm just not sure how relevant it's going to be for my use of the bike (I'm basically going to use it as a daily for my commute).
Let me know if you'll be around, I should be available this weekend. I'll PM you my cell (I can come up to Austin though, it's no problem :)).

I had one other questions, if I purchase it with the Marchesini's are the OEM's included?
Thanks. :)
(oh and PM with number sent, I forgot to PM you! )

Oh, ok. Yeah, they won't be much use in that application. :)
Let me find out my schedule for weekend activities and I'll PM or call you.

Well if it comes with the OEM's, I can make that work some how. :)
Let's set a time aside (when it stops freakin' raining!) and I'd like to take it for a spin (I've been riding for 20+ years, got my class M and will give you the keys to a very nice car as collateral, don't worry I'm trustworthy :)).
I really don't mind going to Austin at all, but if you want to meet somewhere, that's fine too. :)

Nah, I'm kind of attached to her. :D
That and she's hot, has a penchant for sexy shoes and after 10 years of marriage still wears a size 1. :trust:

Any chance we could GTG on Wednesday? I believe I will be free and the weather outlook is pretty good! :)
Jeff, I sent you a PM a couple minutes ago...just posting here so that it's clear the bike isn't for sale anymore:
I just can't part with the Busa at this time. I was not anticipating that I would have a pshycological issue with selling it but, with the Triple gone and someone seriously inquiring about the Busa, the realization that it could actually leave my garage with a different owner has hit me in the last 2 days. It was/is my dream bike and I have it set up exactly how I envisioned it would be long before I bought it and it is everything I thought it would be and more.
Even if my efforts to start a business don't allow me to ride as often as I would like I decided that I'd prefer to have the Busa around for the few times I do get that opportunity. I have a feeling that if I sold it I would be regretting it for the next 10 years (or trolling Ebay in 2-3 years for a 2006/2007 Busa).

Jeff, I'm really sorry for wasting your time. I hope you are able to find something else.
I was wondering when reason was going to set in:duck:
Jeff, with the 08's out, it's a buyers market for busa's right now. Heck, mine might even go on the chopping block when I get home.
