It's hard to read in the downsized photo but the sign on the left says "Speed Limit 100 MPH"
 
Looks like a nice place to ride. Heck, I'd build a house there, with that view!!
 
There were some signs like on a downhill at the Funky Chicken Nat'l Harescrambles XC race in Oregon a few years back... could be there or?

I've seen two photos of Shane at this spot, the first had hime looking down the hill and then this one where he looked back to acknowledge his fans.
