Triumph Riders

That is the same reason why we abandoned the Austin RAT Yahoo Group and setup our own forum at forum.austinrat.org. Since starting it February 13 we have already had 60 or so spammers sign on and deleted.

No one could find the moderators for the old Triumph Riders of Texas group so they could not even block the spammers.

You have to be approved to post on the new site.

We had some spammers with what looked like legit email addresses sign up and spam 6 months later. A forum is so much easier to deal with than the Yahoo Groups, the Yahoo Groups was a nice place to start up but we felt we needed something different.

Ugh, i HATE yahoo groups. After using vBulletin and other like forum softwares, yahoo groups is so horribly dated. That's cool that the interest is there and an effort is being made but I just can't do it. :(
