The Main Street Soda Shop at 710 Hutchins in Ballinger is a good place for food during the week........closed Saturday and Sunday. Everyday but Sunday and Monday you can ease over to Valera for good BBQ at Big O's (and the pies are awesome too.) If steak is your need, try the Lowake Steakhouse in on Hwy 1929.
