Claytonville is a little east of Kress on Hwy 145 and inspite of being a tiny community it has a great place to get a hamburger and fries. The place is the Country Cafe and it's only open for lunch M-F and a catfish fry starting at 5pm on Fridays. I think they make a chicken fried steak, but this fat man hasn't gotten past the burgers and fish yet. That's good cooking!
