Motorcycle Road Racing

For anyone who has not seen sport bike roadracing, on Sept. 18th & 19th at Texas World Speedway is an open track practice for those riding and free of charge to the public. If you're out riding that weekend near College Station (approximately 11 miles south of College Station on Hwy 6) stop by and take a look. Starts at 8:00 Am and concludes at 5:00 PM both days. Most of us will be camping at the track that weekend. Gates are open from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM each day. Stop by the big tan/gray/maroon motorhome with the red 600RR and say hello.:-P

:tab Just to clarify, the riding is NOT free ;-) Entry for nonriders is free. You can walk around the garage area, check out the bikes, pester the riders, wander the infield and watch the action at various corners. This is the LSTD event that many members are planning on attending. I highly recommend doing one of their track days. Well worth the money!
