Howdy,

:tab So I finally got around to watching the tape of the race. WOW!! That first corner disaster was amazing. How does Rossi get so lucky?! He never seems to get caught up in this stuff and almost always seems to be the one that gets the big benefit from it, well except this time, hehe. All hail Tamada!! He rode a fantastic race and Rossi just had nothing for him. I was really bummed to see every rider I was rooting for taken out in the very forst corner: Edwards, Hayden, Hopkins,... Arrgg!! So now I have to wonder if anything will be done to Capirossi for causing the accident? Hopkins did something similar last year and they really spanked him for it!

:tab The rest of the race was a bit boring. Tamada and Rossi cleared off from the rest of the field. Bayliss was making a charge and then crashed... again. It seems that since coming to MotoGP, he has taken on some of Xaus's orevious problems with staying on the bike for a race! Xaus on the other hand is doing great, but just can't seem to get in and stay in the top 10. It must have really sucked for Sete to sit back so far and to not be able to anything at all to challenge the leaders :-|

:tab Kudos to Kawasaki and Nakano for getting the first ever podium finish for Kawasaki. Bittersweet I guess since they got it as a result of everyone ahead of them crashing out hehe. Still, he was riding well. At first it looked as if his bike might not last the race. In a few corners there was a lot of smoke coming from the bike and it looked as if the engine was letting go. However, he never slowed and the smoke quit after a lap or two. Maybe he was just spinning the tire like crazy?

:tab The championship is not over yet, but it is getting down to the wire. Hopefully the last few races will be a little more exciting beyond just the first lap!

Adios,

I kind of felt sorry for Biaggi, he really got screwed in the pile-up.

I like how Rossi gave Tamada his due. :chug:

And what is it with Michelin trying basically untested rubber with Gibernau? Pardon, monsieur, but vee are so sorry to cost you zat championsheep...
