Sunday Ride

I just got back today with some fun memories. Richard and I met today in New Braunfels for breakfast ,and then headed out for a nice morning ride around the back roads of Canyon Lake, and the back roads around the Guadalupe river over to Kendalia.
We stopped in Kendalia for a soda pop, and started talking to some other bikers. While we were talking, a guy from Austin named Charlie pulls up on my old 99 BMW 100 GS. Man was I suprised! We had a good talk, and then we all split and went home our different ways.
All in all an EXCELLENT day to be out on our V- Stroms. See you guys out there some day. Keep the rubber side in the dirt......RRM:lol2:

I meant to say, Charlie pulled up on my old 99 1100 GS (not 100). That older GS is suprising, because it has a great history.
It was bought in Cour' de Lane Idaho in 99, rode a couple of thousand miles there, boxed up and shipped to Argentina, picked up and ridden to Tierra del Fuego, and then turned around and ridden back to San Antonio Texas via South and Central America. :rider: RRM

Mike and I rode Acker Road and the low water crossing was the deepest and fastest flowing I've ever seen. In the spirit of true adv riders we rode across anyway, but only after I got out the camera.
