Forming a list of mods* for the new baby: a Super Sherpa.

First is rejetting based on unanimous suggestions. (warms up faster, runs cooler, and a bit more power)
2. Replace front tire hugger fender with higher one. (Acerbis?)
3. Quick mount/dismount windshield. On for commutes, remove for off-road.
4. Larger capacity gas tank. I'd like to hear from those that have done this with pics and how they did it. 150 miles on a tank is not far enough.

* In my naivety when I first bought the Wee-strom, I adamantly opposed modifying anything on it. Heheh. Now it looks like anything but the original bike. It's like my own lounge chair custom made for me. It's just as much 'me' as it is a brand-named bike. We're a team. I foresee the same for Sherpa Baby.

IMS makes a 3.2 gallon tank in green, white or black. How big is the OEM tank?

IMS makes a 3.2 gallon tank in green, white or black. How big is the OEM tank? stock is 2.4 gal.

3.2 gal tank would add another ~50-55 miles; = ~200 miles/tank. I can deal with that.
'Military green'.......... hmmmmm...... with black Acerbis front fender.

Thanks, Kurt. 'Twill be a good KLR tech day project :trust:
