The City of Bridgeport, just northwest of Fort Worth, is openning up an OHV Park in the old Trinity Gravel Pits on Chico Hwy(101).

Ryan Nolting the Head of their Parks Department would like to have a meeting with a few key users and schedule work that needs to be done. Any club or group or individual that would like to help build this 400 acre park, should send a representative or two to this meeting.

The meeting is 7pm July 12, 2007 at the Bridgeport Recreational Center @ 1102 Lawdwin

We should come out of this meeting with a calendar of work dates and projects to be done. The first project will probably be marking and fencing the boundary lines.

Ryan Nolting can be reached at 940-683-3481

Thanks

We set 2 workdates
August 11th and 25th.
The first thing to do is mark the boundary and build a perimeter road.
We had 11 or so folks show up representing FWD-FWD,DFW-TX4WD,Lone Star Jeep Club,Toyota Trail Riders, & TMTC. It was decided to keep the first work day to a reasonable number of people, so if each club represented at the meeting brought an additional 3-4 people ....that would probably be workable.

I'm so happy!!!

It was a good meeting.
We'll have the park built in no time. Bridgeport's gonna love us.
