I,ve been starving for a dirt ride since the rains started. My friend Tony called me at 7:00 am Saturday and said "want ta go for a ride?" I did not even ask where I just said YES. He knew what the answer was before he called because he was siting outside my house when he called.

We were headed for Bridgeport. I had never been there.

This is the area we rode with 3 GPS trackes.

Unloading the bikes. Tony rides Yamaha TTR250, I ride the KLR650.

Lots of washed out roads and over grown trails.

Tony slowly sliding through the mud and crossing the creek on the algae covered paved bridge. I let him test all the mud parts first so I could take the pics. ;-)

Hey Bill, good pics, thanks for sharing. Is that an unmaintained area? Is it safe to park?:rider:

It's private land open to the public. The owner charges $10.00 a head. You register at the Twin Hills store at the corner of CR1658 and Twin Hills road. tel # 940-683-4959

Good to know. Thanks. Looks like one could set up a good lap with those water crossings and all!:thumb:

Some of the "experienced" enduro riders may have ridden some of this country during the Bridgeport enduros of the early eighties. In the late nineties and maybe later there were cross country races on the property.

This place is cool, I have been there several times on my ATV. It is very very rocky. The trails are tight and yes they do have some steep rocky climbs. I usually see trials bikes there when I have been before. They usually close it in the fall for deer season.
