Posting a reoccurring event on the calendar

How do you post a reoccurring event on the calendar? (question is not in the FAQ)

:tab You would just have to enter the event each time. A pain I know, but that is just the way it works. So far, you are the second person to EVER even mention the calendar to me. At the next forum software upgrade I was going to drop it as it seems no one uses it. The Upcoming Events section seems to be doing fine.

There's a calendar on here?

I have a hard enough time keeping up with the posts, so I'll just watch the Upcoming Events forum.

I was thinking nobody uses it because you have to look for it. If the calendar was displayed on the home page, small like over in a corner maybe more people would use it. Otherwise someone has to remember to post a regular meeting in one of the forums. Just a suggestion, no big deal!

Do you mean post a picture of a calendar? There is already a link to it on the top of every single page, right up there with the FAQ, Memberlist, etc,...

I would like a better calendar, but since I am not a programmer, I have to settle for what is out there. I'll do some checking and see if anything better has come out lately for the PHPBB run forums like this one.
