Clark, I think he likes your bike. He was grinning from ear to ear as he was talking about it later.

I'll try to get the videos edited down to postable size and get a link to them up as soon as possible.

We had a good group out early Saturday also! Great ride at a pretty good pace! Hope all enjoyed it as much as I did!

From what I hear, y'all had a good ride too. On our ride we had one injury that I'm still waiting to hear how he is doing. A co-worker and possible future MSRA member was thrown from his quad in one of the creeks and landed on his head and then bounced over on to his right hip. He was a little sore but made another couple of laps around the MX track with me and Kyle. It appears Kyle is starting to get the hang of using his clutch on the 65.

Alex was telling the Sunday group about y'all Saturday ride. And it did sound like he enjoyed both days. I think we had 10 riders for the Sunday ride. There were a few others out to ride but we more or less had the place to ourselves.

Just heard from my co-worker. He said he is moving a little slow and still sore but the Advil, hot shower and icy hot patches are working. Said he had a blast riding and visiting with the group and is looking forward to doing it again. Said he has gained a new respect for ruts and roots.

We might have to hook him up with Robbie to tell him a few of the finer points to riding a quad in the woods. That is if you can call that monster of his a quad. That 650 snowmobile engine sure sounds strong.

Yeah, that thing was HUGE!
Alex should have hit a loop or 2 on my bike, not just the MX track... next time. Tony, you should check it out too, and not just because I wanna ride your 450! We will have to do it again soon, I'm thinking I should join MSRA and quit leaching off Kens membership to ride outlaw - that place is awesome.

Tony did Alex get any good video from saturday?

There is one incident I want to see where his front fender went to the right of a tree and his tire went to the left. :lol2:

It seems that he forgot to put a memory card in the camera for the rides on Saturday. Said he had them all out there with him but never installed one in the camera.

I think I would have liked to have seen that one too. It's not the first time he has done that. :eek2:

Here's the first attempt at the video. As I was editing it down to a smaller size and adding a title to it the sound was shifted and I couldn't get it back in sync with the video. We also need to do a little work on the camera angle next time. For now until I can get the audio/video in sync, I just posted it on google. Hopefully I can get it corrected and moved to a better host.

Ok, this is the 2nd thread bashing my hot dog selection... You DO realize what is in a hotdog, right?
I mean, they sweep the floor at the slaughterhouse, throw in some eyeballs and teeth and grind it all up. Too runny? Add more teeth. Too firm? Add a bit more mopwater. Its like blognia or spam or vianna sausage - filler. Pus.
Now I'm hungry.

FireMalt

Oh... don't get me wrong, I was thankful for the food...

while we were at Outlaw, lol. :haha:

The dogs weren't bad, just the things must have blinded us and we missed the other rider.

Now I'm getting hungry again, wonder if there is any cow lips, eyes and hooves in the icebox :eat:

Hey, just wanted to say it was really nice seeing/meeting all of you on Sunday. :thumb: Sorry I didn't hit the trails with y'all, but I'd promised Cole some one-on-one QT since school was starting the next day, and once school starts, we get to ride together even less. And, he's still working up to the "pressures" of riding with others.

Hope to see y'all out there again soon!

Pete, it was good to meet you and Cole. Don't worry about not hitting the trails with the group. I didn't do the trails with them either since Kyle is still trying to get the hang of a bike with a clutch.

They never are - but the fact that you're taking AP classes tells me you're doing quite well for yourself in school. The tougher standards are supposed to prep you for college, but right now it just seems like they're trying to make life difficult.

Next year you'll look back at AP classes and think they were easy!

And four years after that, Dental School will make the freshman college year seem easy.
