I saw a rider downed yesterday in plano

5:15pm, Plano, Tx.

Filling up on gas for my ride home a suzuki Gixxer screams down preston road between legacy and spring creek, I look up from my tank, to see a young man, blue/white helmet, t-shirt, brown shorts, sneakers... I shrug it off , so typical for texas sport riders that don't know/care ...

I drive off, the traffic is thick 1/3 mile down the road.... as I reach spring creek, lights, I see the same gixxer on the right side of the road, a black pick- up/suv pulled over, the rider standing by his ride, as I crossed the street on the light, I examine the bike is leaking oil on the side of the engine, the rider looks unscaved....

I drive home as 4 people are on cells phone and I can hear sirens heading this way.

sad sight.... rush hour traffic.... Rider in traffic gets clipped at intersection.

rush hour traffic scares the **** out of me. i try to avoid it as best i can. with that said, heavy traffic is NO place to squid it up. i hate seeing 20 year olds with just a lid hauling *** through heavy traffic, im always scared that im going to have to watch them go down. i guess im lucky in the fact that the only time ive ever seen someone "go down" was when a squid dropped his r6 after grabbing way too much front brake trying to pull out of a gas station. talk about ego bruise. but of course he made it up by wheelieing through the stoplight, so its probably okay, he showed THAT driveway.
