Now this is bizarre, and I thought CA is motorcycle friendly. The biker did have two strikes though, speeding and night riding. The cager struck out completely.

This is the 3rd report from across the country in the past couple years of a person (pedestrian or biker) being hit by a cage, wedged in the glass (the other 2 were in the WINDSHIELD!) and driven on home by the cager. The first one, a woman in Ohio (I think) left her car in the garage, went out to retrieve something from it, back into the house until morning. That's when she realized there was a dead man hanging out of her windshield, laying on the hood of her car.

Sheesh!

I always love the "That's when she realized" line.

(That's when she realized) = (that's when she was sober)

Ermm, wasn't she a nurse and the guy was moaning and groaning for help for most of the night till he died from internal bleeding? It was a pretty big deal.

That sounds like the one in DFW a couple of years ago. Amazing how the mind works.
