It ended up being for of us. Billy Jeferson, Jack Jeter, and Jim Stovall, and me. I was having a bad day for the first 10 miles then let 5 lbs of preassure out of each tire and started having a much better day, despite having no front brake all day long.

I didn't take many pictures, but we did stop a couple of times.

If you haven't been to Cross Bar you really need to go. It's in danger of being shut down and the more bikes that locals see out there, and money they bring in increase the chance that we will have such a great riding area so close to home.

Thanks for the invite Chris. Me and Jim had a blast, especially watching you fall up and down those hills!:rider::eek2:
Just kiddin you, I thought you did a pretty good job. I'm definitely seeing improvement in your off road skills.

I think I'd like to give CrossBar a try... but I've still got the Trailwings on my DR650. Do you advise that I wait till I get some more dirt oriented tires?

Never mind the tire, I wouldn't do the long loop on a 650. The short 13 mile loop would probably be ok. I would recommend more dirt oriented tires for a gravel road over trailwings.
